Nigel was signed by Arsenal from Wimbledon in 1987. The former England left
back made nearly 600 appearances for the Gunners scoring just 12 goals. In
13 years at the club, he won every domestic trophy - including two "doubles"
- and a UEFA Cup winner's medal. Nigel finished his career with a three year
spell at West Ham before finally retiring in 2003 at the age of 39.
Jim is a sports journalist and presenter who currently fronts Scottish
television's coverage of the UEFA Champions League. Jim has covered all the
world's major sporting events for the Daily Telegraph and is a long-serving
contributor to BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Five Live. He spent many years
working for the Guardian and has also recently written and presented
documentaries on Jose Mourinho and Sven-Goran Eriksson on Sky.
Liam is in the proud position of having played professional sport in three
different arenas. He is the son of English Test cricketer Ian Botham and
Liam initially played county cricket for Hampshire. In 1997, Liam signed for
rugby union side West Hartlepool, before successive moves to Cardiff and
Newcastle Falcons. While at Newcastle, he won the Tetley Bitter Cup and
reached the final of the European Shield. In 2003, Liam switched codes to
Rugby League. He signed for Super League club Leeds Rhinos before moving to
Wigan in 2005. In the same year, Liam was forced to announce his retirement
aged 27 following a neck injury.

I’ve been a sports fan my whole life – playing on the field, watching on TV, and now writing and reading on the internet. I am currently working in American Network Sports TV Broadcasting covering the NFL, NFL Europe, Baseball and NASCAR. I’m trying to bring an American perspective to British sports fans.
GKahuna is a former sportsman who for the last five years, has been employed
as a specialist sports Journalist for a major news corporation. During his
time, he has covered the Olympics; two World Cups and had the pleasure of
attending far too many boring ideas meetings.

Sportsman has an insatiable and sometime unhealthy appetite for sport.
Whether it is on the Internet, Television, and Radio or even on his wedding
day, Sportsman just can not get enough sport. It is an addiction and has
even been known to watch the strange sport of tractor pulling while on
holiday in the USA.
Gary started his career at Middlesbrough before Sir Alex Ferguson snapped
him up for a then British record of £2.3 million in 1989. Gary spent nearly
a decade at the club where he won three FA cups, four Premier League titles,
one League cup and one Cup Winners' Cup. During his time at Old Trafford he
won over 20 England caps. He returned to Boro in 1998 before finally
retiring three years later.
Sultan Gangji was born on the romantic island of Zanzibar but has spent most of his childhood and adult life living in London. He is married to Rachael whom he met at university. He went to London University where he acquired a Doctorate in Chemistry but very soon realised he had a passion for sports and in particular tennis. Sultan has been involved in tennis for over 30 years working for the ITF and LTA. During his spell with the ITF he helped National Associations around the world develop tennis programmes. He has travelled to all parts of the world including Africa, Far East, Australia and USA. He was one of the first few professional Chair umpires to be chosen to work at all the Grand Slams and Davis Cup Ties. Sultan has umpired and refereed numerous events around the world including 2 Wimbledon Finals and 2 Davis Cup Finals. During his time he has dealt with all the colourful characters of the game such as McEnroe, Cash, Connors and Sampras to name a few from the past.
During his spell at the LTA he helped set up the now well established Officiating Department and was in charge of all the Umpires and Referees in this country coordinating all the tournaments around the UK including Wimbledon.
Currently he is with Superset working as an Events Director formulating plans and structuring the launch of a grassroots programme with the LTA.
Ben Kosky decided to become a sports journalist after realising at a young age he would never be good enough to play professional sport. He has worked in local newspapers for 10 years and is currently sports editor of the North West London Times series, where he has the good fortune to report on the not so good fortunes of Queens Park Rangers, and is also an occasional contributor to BBC London radio.
Dominic Cork
A freelance sports journalist who spent four-and-a-half years on The Sunday Times newspaper, contributing match reports, features and regular interviews. Specialises in a variety of sports, such as football, cricket, rugby union and speedway
MP is an experienced sports journalist who has written for the likes of UEFA, The Independent, The News of the World, The League Paper, The Non-League Paper and Press Association. Amongst the events he has covered are International, European, League, Non-League & Youth football, plus County & International cricket.
Iain Macintosh is a freelance football writer based in the UK. He writes a weekly column for The Singapore New Paper and, possibly as penance for crimes from a former life, is a Southend United fan. Macintosh has also written for the Irish Examiner, Alpha and, bizarrely, Heritage Magazine.
Allan played professional cricket for Northants and England from 1978 until 1995. He was capped 79 times by England and also captained Northants for several years.
John Huggan is the European correspondent for Golf Digest, the world's
biggest-selling golf magazine, and its sister publication, Golf World. He
is also a columnist for Scotland on Sunday and Golf International.
Adrian is a former professional footballer who played in the Premiership for Arsenal before joining Southend United in 1997. Since quitting the professional game in 2001, Adrian has been working as a football journalist with Icons, where he is now deputy editor. He has written for a range of magazines including Champions Magazine, FourFourTwo and Alpha.
