Hot off the press

What do Manchester United and Everton fans have to say about Saha’s move to Everton?

“Everton have agreed to sign Louis Saha, subject to the Manchester United striker passing a medical.

His last appearance for United came in March against Bolton and he started only six games in the Premier League last term.

Saha's imminent exit is likely to intensify United manager Sir Alex Ferguson's search to bring in a new striker before the transfer window closes.” (sky sports)

There’s no denying Saha’ quality. Playing at his best he is more than a sufficient replacement for Any Johnson up top. However, Saha has a history of being injured possibly more than Michael Owen and one must think Everton have taken a huge risk in signing him.

Are Everton fans happy at the signing or will they be anxious every time they watch him play?
Furthermore, what do United fans think about the decision to let him go, especially to Everton? Is the deal justice for Wayne Rooney?

I'm a United Fan, im happy hes gone, hes always injured and hope he enjoys his time at Everton. And this means we probaly are going to sign someone, but i dont think its gonna be Berbatov, maybe Henry ?

The Hell! Are we looking at the same player. Louis Saha is ABSOLUTE quality.

Injury aside the boy is still one of the best and most reliable strikers in the Premiership.

He is clinical, has pace, awareness, positional play, timing, is akin to Anelka, has a Champions League pedigree and is a vast improvement on the Beattie, Johnson era... why the hell are we are complaining?

Saha not quality??? Do you lot even watch football.

Have I missed something here, wasn't the key word'Quality'this summer, seems to have changed to 'desperation'. However, wouldn't it be nice if he started banging them in.

I think Moyesey has bought him on the cheap but highwages will add to that cost. 2 years will be perfect to bring Victor Anichebe, James Vaughn and Jose Baxter thn who knows, we may have £50M worth of striker at a very very young age. Hers hopeing

i think saha will turn out to be a very good signing for everton. i can easily see him scoring 15+ goals a season if he can stay fit. But i think man utd definately need another striker now as they only have rooney and tevez. maybe they should go for Karim Benzema?
