Hot off the press

Why Would Barcelona want Arsenal’s Fabregas?

The rumours have re-appeared again. Is Cesc Fabregas getting itchy feet as Arsenal appear to be heading for another year without winning a trophy. Before heading off to play for Spain Cesc Fabregas hints at a Barcelona return. He admitted that it would be a dream to return to Barcelona, and that it may happen sooner rather than later unless Arsenal can start winning silverware again. But would Barcelona really want him?

Still only 21, Fabregas has played over 200 games for the Gunners scoring 28 goals. He is the complete mid-fielder blessed with wonderful technical abiltity, great vision, not afraid to tackle and is more often then not on the score sheet. He is Arsenal’s magician controling play in every game.

Why would Barcelona want to fork out tens of millions when they have enough talent in their squad.

• Lionel Messi, also 21 and an Argentinian international, played in the Barcelona youth squad with Fabregas. He is a highly creative, vesatile left-footed player who can play mid-field or on the wing. He is incredibly powerful, has exceptional ball control and a specialist at dead ball situations.

• Sergi Busquets, only 20, is a very complete midfielder renowned for his intelligence on the field. He is a good reader of the game, adds security to the team rarely giving the ball away and is also solid in his defensive duties. He is tactically aware and his height advatage gives him an impossing presence around goal.

So, Fabregas can talk and dream all he likes but there is no certainty that Barcelona will come calling. Or maybe I’m wrong and you think Cesc Fabregas would have a lot to contribute to the Spanish Power House.

This is an absolutely terrible article.
It ignores the facts and has no references or quotes.
Truly embarrassing and yet another example of why sites like this are a disease of the internet.

What a load of unmitigated shite. Just Sensationalised misquotes and dubious assertions. You're not wrong you're just crap.

Is this some sort of joke?

"as Arsenal appear to be heading for another year without winning a trophy"

4 points of the top of the league. 4 points from 6 in the Champions League. In the next round of the Carling Cup. The FA Cup draw yet to take place.

Those are facts. Therefore your opening lines to this article, based on those facts, are rediculous.
