Clichy should be included ahead of Puyol, not because he's had a better year, but because he is the best left back in the world right now. Phillip Lahm might also have been considered if he hadn't played at right back for Bayern last year. Also, Lampard was far better than Gerrard last year and had his team competing for three trophies, while Liverpool burned out early on in all but the Champions League.

im a liverpool fan and i think clichy has to be the best left back in the world so he should be there instead of the often calamitous puyol. plus neither terry, ferdinand or puyol can play left back properly so clichy would be perfect

In a 4-3-3 the full backs need to provide the width. I would suggest someone like Clichy, Evra or Abidal instead of Puyol.

I'd swap out Ronaldo for David Villa, because Ronaldo is a brat and no-one really likes him. That, and he always disappears in big games. Great against west Brom, nowhere against Milan or liverpool.

I'd swap Carra any day for Terry.
