Hot off the press

Manchester City to try and swoop for A.C. Milan and Brazil star?

Of course when rebuilding a team it is difficult to prove your ambitions without a lot of projection of confidence, and the ability to usurp various players into your way of thinking. City have already signed some excellent players; although he has been bland so far this season, Jo will come good and is a superb player. Stephen Ireland has followed on from his superb form of last year and is constantly proving himself to be the ultimate midfielder there; tackling passing running and scoring, he has been keeping the equally gifted Michael Jonson out of the team for a while now. With Wright – Phillips on the right and Robinho on the left, they have a truly threatening team line up with a very solid centre back partnership.

Whether Hughes is the man for the job to take them to the next level is another question entirely but will they be able to lure some more stars to make their team the next Galacticos of Planet Earth? Robinho is reportedly in the process of trying to lure Kaka which is a very frightening prospect. He said:

"Kaka is a great player and a great person.

"He's so strong, intelligent and fast. Obviously I'm hoping that I can play with him here at City.

If Kaka or any other great player wants to come here the door is open.

"It's great when we have players like that mentioned with the club. We love it, and the ambition of the owners.

"All the players are hoping to make this club the best in the world."

Perhaps what the other players aside from Kaka haven't considered is whether they would actually get in the team any longer if they being to buy stars like Kaka, it obviously hasn't been thought out so much, even the superb Wright Phillips and Ireland who deserve to feature in great teams would get the shove for bigger names.

Either way, what do fans think about City's ambitions, is this at all likely or not? Can they really land Kaka?
