Hot off the press

Real Madrid want Inter Milan's Hernan Crespo as replacement for injured Ruud van Nistelrooy

Gossip out today regarding Van Nistelrooy's injury at Real suggests that Real are keen to get Crespo as a sure fire replacement. Crespo moved from Chelsea to Inter in August 2006 despite winning the Premiership that season. With 26 goals in all competions, his move to Inter was not popular with a number of Chelsea fans. Last season at Inter he netted only 5 goals, but this season he has not scored any, instead seeing a bit part as a dusty sub. He has scored at least one Champions League goal with each of the five European teams he has played for since moving from River Plate in 1996; he is the only player in CL history to accomplish this feat.

Will he go to Real or is this just rubbish speculation?
