Manchester City seemingly uneffected by the current economic down-turn, many are are wondering who they will target when the transfer window re-opens in January. When Chelsea first found themselves in the money, courtesy of a Russian oligarch, rumours were bounded around left right and centre, Chelsea were linked with everyone. Manchester City are now going through what Chelsea went through under Abramovich, and no doubt City fans are excited. The strongest links at the moment are for Santa Cruz to re-join his old boss. Cruz seems unsettled at Blackburn since Hughes departure, and would probably welcome a chance to move.
