Hot off the press

 England B as good as England A? Chelsea skipper Terry thinks so!

As England proved their mettle against a stronger German side on Wednesday and came out victorious despite a defensive blunder between Terry and stand in keeper Carson, it seemed that these players with their hunger and fight might be a viable option as replacements for the big names. As shown by Arsenal, the younger players often play better than the proven ones because they have a greater fight and passion. Terry said;

"Over the past three or four months we've seen sides like Arsenal play younger lads and maybe we've made out we haven't got the younger players at England level.

"But I think some of them have shown in Germany that, given the opportunity, they can take it.

"They need to keep playing well for their clubs for them to prove it.

"I'm sure the manager will have looked at a few of them and take them into the next game and possibly the World Cup qualifiers.

"Gabby was a different class, he worked his socks off up front and gave Germany real problems."

Perhaps Agbonlahor will be a great partner for Rooney, having said that you cant really fault the pairing of him with Heskey, nor Heskey's work rate, but Agbonlahor should certainly be lurking around the periphery, as he is. What do fans think of Terry's comments? Supportive and yet somewhat meaningless? And isn't it slightly disloyal to the injured members of the team, some of whom are his best friends?
