Arsenal will be relieved to hear that Torres has picked up a recurrence of his previous hamstring injury that might see him out until Christmas, and that means missing a massive game at the Emirates against Arsenal. Though Keane is a sharp player in front of goal, he really doesn't have the same goal scoring ability as his strike partner and Liverpool will feel very downbeat about having to lose him for another 3 weeks. The news comes very soon after he just recovered from his previous problem that saw him out for 6 games.

Meanwhile Thierry Henry has come out publicly and discussed his thoughts on Liverpool's season;

"I always follow the Premier League. If you ask me if Liverpool can do it then I say, why not?

"It will be difficult but if you look at what's happened so far, then you see that Liverpool have won the games they never used to win.

"They hadn't beaten Manchester United for a very long time and they've also won at Stamford Bridge.

"Those are the kind of games that give you the confidence that you can win the league.

"The thing that has let Liverpool down in the last few years - and the reason they haven't won the league - is that they weren't beating the top four teams. Now they are."

Yet now with Torres out, and Arsenal still to play is it likely that they will keep the pace ahead of the Chelsea power machine that doesn't seem to be grinding to a halt any time soon?
