Hot off the press

Manchester United look down their noses at Manchester City.

Its derby time in the City of Manchester. There is always the usual mud slinging before the match but this time the comments are becoming a little more personal. When questioned about City’s chances, Sir Alex said, “Where are they at the moment? Excuse me!”

Wayne Rooney added his bit, “If City were winning trophies, it would irritate me, but while they are still lingering in mid-table, I am not really too bothered about it.”

Will this be the last time Man U hold their rivals in such contempt? We all know that City, backed by the oil dollars is going to be transformed into a side to match the best of the clubs in the Premier League and for that matter in Europe.

Will the tables be turned next season with City out there in the front line throwing scorn on their Manchester rivals?

City fans, why not get in early and let that other side know just what the future holds for them?
