Usually before a big derby game there is a lot of hostile gamesmanship between the two camps. This week things seem to be very different. Imagine the manager of the rival team coming out with only nice words to say about the opposition. Chelsea’s boss, Scolari says, “Lay off Wenger. “ I watched their game against Manchester United and it was one of the best games in the Premier League.

“His team always tries to play beautiful football, so it’s difficult to win. In the big games, they play better so we need to realise this.

You must admit that this is pretty unusual? Only nice things to say.

Wenger remained low key about the game but did warn his friend, Scolari that he remained confident that Arsenal could inflict Chelsea’s second home defeat of the season after Liverpool won at the Bridge. Wenger said, “There is no team that is not vulnerable, none in the world.”
