Tevez Gives Manchester United Boss a Clear Signal – Is he too Good to Just be a Sub?

Manchester United eased into the semi finals last night with a comfortable 5-3 victory over a struggling Blackburn.

The real star of the show was 4 goal Carlos Tevez. Rated at £32 million, Tevez is an example of how Manchester United have became the new ‘Chelsea’ – able to afford players of Tevez quality and price to just sit on the bench, as Chelsea did with Andriy Shevchenko. This is something Liverpool and Arsenal just could not do.

But will he be content with life as a costly substitute?

When the club bought in Berbatov for £32 million in the summer the message was clear – we need someone else upfront. That must have hurt Tevez and he clearly has become fourth choice behind Wayne Rooney, Berbatov and Ronaldo.

Should Manchester United splash the cash to keep Tevez? Should Tevez stay even if they do?
