Paul Ince has struggled at Blackburn and the club are firmly routed in a relegation battle, with league leaders Liverpool visiting Ewood Park today. So it is only natural that rumours start about Ince facing an early end to his career as Blackburn manager. But the man to replace him? Graeme Souness.

Has Graeme Souness not failed enough times to rule him out of any job? Souness is apparently a fans favourite and certainly the crowd has recently turned against Ince, being happy to vent their unhappiness with the players recent performances, not to mention the clubs poor results.

However is Souness the best option? Roy Keane is now looking for work, as is Sam Allardyce and although both managers have also had their failures, they have also shown they are capable of picking teams up and dragging them up the table, like Keane did to get Sunderland promoted and Allardyce did with Bolton over a few seasons.

Souness to rescue the club? Sounds like a recipe for relegations.
