Hot off the press

David Moyes Looks for New Striking Options at Everton: Could Manchester City’s Jo be the man for him?

David Moyes has not had much luck with injuries this season and he started against Manchester United without a recognised striker. So it is of very little surprise he has been looking around for reinforcements as his side look for a Champions League place.

Rumours have linked him with a move for Tottenham’s Darren Bent previously and now with Manchester City’s out of favour Brazilian Jo. Both moves were on loan as Everton are short of funds and when his strikers are back fit, the new signing would find himself surplus to requirements.

Mark Hughes is keen to move Jo out of Manchester City as he prepares to reinforce the squad further in the summer. Jo has been disappointing at City and would surely relish the chance to gain some guaranteed first team football.

This is a deal that seems to suit all parties.
