Hot off the press

 Bent to leave Spurs in the Summer?

Darren Bent has been having a mixed season. Scoring with prolific regularity in pre season, this year looked so bright for him, but he could never team up properly with Pavyluchenko and Ramos never gave them a proper chance to play alongside one another. In the meantime,
Bent was bought for £16 million from Charlton, and had to wait on the sidelines for Berbatov, Defoe and Keane all to leave, only to see that his chances were still few and far between after their departure.

Obviously its been tough for him to have so many different managers and striking partners, but that should surely have been something to adapt to... Many people commented on how Tottenham knew Berbatov would be inevitably leaving, and with that in mind, Bent would be the man toreplace him as the highest scoring English player that season at Charlton with over 20 goals. But it wasn't to be, and he has struggled to make an impact, missing a vital goal the other day which Redknapp rather tactlessly admitted "My gran could have scored". Bent did come back the following game with 2 goals, which weren't enough to stop Spurs losing, but he is trying hard to make an impact. He is now worried however that Redknapp has no future plans for him, and feels he has to clearly move club in the Summer as he wont sit on the sidelines;

"I need to play more games. I want to play football. I don't want another season where I'm in and out of the team all the time.

"I've actually scored quite a lot of goals this season, considering I'm not playing regularly.

"So I'm going to have to weigh up my options in the summer."

What do Spurs fans think? Is he worth keeping? How much could you get for him?
