Hot off the press

Everton Boss David Moyes back in for Manchester City’s Jo to Strengthen his Attack

Everton boss David Moyes is looking to take advantage of Manchester City’s big spending – by nabbing current City striker Jo for a season long loan.

City boss Mark Hughes has brought in Craig Bellamy and Roque Santa Cruz and will soon bring in Carlos Tevez to add to his options. Samuel Eto’o remains a target despite, the Cameroon international demanding eye watering wages and signing on fees.

All these players coming in leave Jo, signed for £19 million last season, as an odd man out.

Hughes is thought to be happy to let Jo go back to loan on Everton, who would be keen to see him repeat the form he showed at the end of last season.

Jo has a point to prove Mark Hughes wrong and Everton could be the ideal team for him to do that next season.
